Nine persons have been confirmed missing following a boat mishap which occurred yesterday, when a passenger boat travelling to Bakana community in Degema Local Government Area capsized.
Eyewitness account revealed that the boat which took off from Abonnema Wharf jetty in Port Harcourt city local government area, had 25 passengers on board and the accident occurred before they arrived Bakana.
Our source accused the driver of overloading his boat, which may have led to the sad incident.
