Governor Fubara approves reconstitution of two Boards, assigns portfolios to Special Advisers

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has approved the immediate reconstitution of two Boards in the Health Sector, Africa Update has learnt.

This information was contained in a Government Special Announcement issued by the Secretary to State Government Tammy Wenike Danagogo.

According to the announcement, the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital and the Rivers State Hospitals Management Boards have been reconstituted.

A copy of the announcement sighted by Africa Update reads: OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY TO THE RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State, has approved the reconstitution of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital and the Rivers State Hospitals Management Boards. The Chairmen and members are as follows: 1. RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL BOARD (1) Prof. Dasetima D. Altraide – Chairman (2) Prof. Chizindu Alikor – CMD/Member (3) Dr. Inye Korubo – Member (4) Mrs. Ngozi Chiho Ekpendu – Member (5) Mrs. Kindness Egbelu – Member (6) Rev. Dr. Dandeson Emmanuel – Member (7) Dr. Vincent Wachukwu – Member (8) Dr. Ebbi Robinson – Member (9) Pharm. Chisa Elechi-Igwe – Member (10) Prof. Chituru Orluwene – Member (11) Prof. Promise N. Wichendu – Member

2. Similarly, another announcement made on February 20, by the Secretary to State Government indicates that the recently appointed Special Advisers have also been assigned portfolios.

  5. PRINCE OBI OHIA, DSSRS – ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION
