Boutique Owner Found Dead in Port Harcourt Shop After Suspected Robbery

A boutique owner was reportedly found dead inside his shop in the New Road area of Old Township, Port Harcourt, in what is suspected to be a robbery attack.

According to preliminary reports, the victim was allegedly robbed and strangled by unidentified assailants, who are believed to have made away with a quantity of clothing and other items from the boutique.

The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the business community in the area, with residents and traders expressing concern over the growing insecurity affecting commercial establishments.

Although details surrounding the incident remain sketchy, sources said the victim was discovered lifeless inside the shop, prompting alarm among neighbouring business owners and passers-by. The attackers reportedly fled the scene after carting away merchandise from the boutique.

As of the time of filing this report, the identity of the deceased had not been officially disclosed, while the exact value of the stolen goods remains unknown.

The victim according to a source, just recently opened his business after serving his master, a popular super market owner in old Port Harcourt township under the igbo apprenticeship.
