ARE WE MAD?

Today we bragged and beat our chests, claiming we are the giant of Africa.Ghana with less than a quarter of population of Nigeria have done it and will continue to do it
– it’s not about size
– it’s not about position
– it’s not about resources
– it’s not about being ahead of the game
– it’s not about corruption
Its a long term consistency in planning, continuous research and high performance
What makes Ghana attractive?
– Low capital requirement- an example is the capital base requirement in Nigeria for banks is N25billion while in Ghana it is N7.5billion
– Risk rating – Ghana is one of the few African countries with country risk rating of –B+ by standards and poor
– Presence of multinational corporations- while our govt and youths pursue them with policies, revenues and demands they found solace in Ghana
– Economy- Stable currency and govt policies with average steady 3.5% real GDP growth rate over the years
– Friendly tax laws- While corporate tax laws in Nigeria can be as high as btw 30-40% of net profit, it’s 25% or less in Ghana. The abolition of national reconstruction levy of 5% in Ghana while we still charge various development levies in Nigeria makes the cost of doing business in Ghana lower. Nigerian investors are growing the economy of Ghana
– Stable power supply
HOW DO WE GET THERE?
-Insightful analysis of the present situation facing the country
– Good choice from well considered options
– Re orientation of workforce within the country
– Clear developmental plan that motivates the citizens
– Sincerity of the ruling class
– Achievable goals
There is no overnight success
Good governance is not on the pages of newspapers nor by press release from media assistants or press secretaries.Let the masses blow your trumphet
I am not APC or PDP i desire the best for Nigeria
