Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo has joined other people of goodwill across the globe to felicitate with Dame (Dr) Christie Toby, Wife of the former Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Alabo Sir (Dr) Gabriel Toby as she celebrates her 80th Birthday.
In a statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, 28th April 2021, the Deputy Governor described Dame (Dr). Christie Toby as a foremost educationist, philanthropist, astute administrator and patriot whose contribution to the educational advancement of children especially those with special learning needs is beyond measure.
Dr. Banigo said Dame Christie Toby blazed the trail by establishing the first all-inclusive school in Nigeria which according to her is highly commendable as a Rivers Woman. While wishing Dame Dr. Christie Toby many happy returns, the Deputy Governor prayed the Almighty God to continue to bless and keep her in good health.
