It was a shocking experience for commuters at Liceu metro station in the city of Barcelona, Spain as they watched a couple have sex at about 11.55pm local time on Saturday
An eyewitness said the couple arrived at the train station, had sex on the platform bench and climbed another convoy after accomplishing the act.
It was however, unclear if the couple had too much to drink and got carried away, or if it was a daring game.
The city of Gothic Quarter, an area popular with tourists had situations where couples were found having sex in the photo booths in emergency exits or elevators.
Authorities have disclosed that they have commenced investigation into the incident which could earn the couple a fine of 6,000 euros.
