A factional Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Golden Ben Chioma, has dumped the party.
Chioma told a Port Harcourt based radio station in an interview on Tuesday that he has lost interest in the party and he intends to pitch his tent with another political party.
Chioma, a loyalist of Senator Magnus Abe, and former representative of Omuma State Constituency at the Rivers State House of Assembly, during the era when Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, was Speaker of the State Assembly, said: “I have resigned my membership of APC in the State. The party is not making any headway, and I’m no more interested in the party. I will soon announce the name of my new party”.
