The Bauchi State Police Command Anti kidnapping unit has arrested 50-year-old Yakubu Abdulhamid of Jebere village in Nabordo district of Toro LGA of the State.
Africa Update gathered that Abdulhamid and his gang are allegedly responsible for series of Kidnappings along Nabordo axis.
The police source said the gang members also mediate and negotiate ransom, dispose cows at very cheap price. One fabricated revolver gun and cartridges were recovered by the police.
The  PPRO, Bauchi State police command,  SP Haruna Mohammed, in a statement,  warned that kidnapers have infiltrated the State to kidnap under-age children for ransom or other motives.
Ahead of the Eid-el Fitr Sallah Celebration, he urged residents to monitor their children and pay special attention to strangers and report suspicious persons or objects within their neighbourhood to the nearest Police Station or through the emergency phone number (08151849417) .
