Fotmer Commissioner for Information and Communications Emma Okah, Permanent Secretary Rivers State Scholarship Board, Honour Sirawoo, and Ijeoma Achonolu, got to the highest echelon of Education over the weekend when they were formally conferred with Doctoral Degrees, during the 8th Convocation ceremony of Imo State University, IMSU, in Owerri.
Okah who is an Attorney at Law Notary Public at Emma Okah & Co Solicitors, bagged a PhD in Law, while Sirawoo, who is also the National President Sports Writers Association, SWAN and Ijeoma Achonolu a seasoned Journalist, both bagged PhD in Mass Communication, Africa Update reports.
According to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Uchefula Chukwumaeze, Thirty students graduated with First Class honours with about 5,000 students participating in the convocation ceremony.
