The President of Nigerian Mixed Martial Arts Federation, NMMAF, Amb Henry George, says the emergence of a seasoned sports journalist, Jim Opiki, as Chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Rivers State Chapter, is the beginning of new era.
Speaking from Bayelsa State, after a government function in yenegoa, George said, ‘We are glad to see a peaceful Election which took place at the NUJ press centre in port Harcourt. Sarah David is a known sports personality and we are happy to see her elected as the vice chairman.’
