Coronavrus: Lagos State Govt orders Civil servants to stay at home

following new cases of coronavirus infection in Lagos State, the State government on Sunday, announced that civil servants should stay at home for 14 days in a bid to halt the spread of the virus.

The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, gave the directive at a press briefing on the Coronavirus pandemic in the state.

He, however said the directive applied to the state civil servants on level one to 12, while workers on essential services are exempted from the stay at home order. .

So far, the state has recorded 19 confirmed cases of Coronavirus after the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed three fresh cases on Sunday morning.

The government also discovered seven cases of COVID-19 in the state on Sunday, which brings the number to 27 confirmed cases in Nigeria.
