Gov. Wike has outperformed his predecessors with legacy projects ~ Dr. Tammy Danagogo

The Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, says Governor Nyesom Wike, has outperformed his predecessors, in terms of provision of amenities for the betterment of Rivers People.

Danagogo, made the disclosure yesterday, while playing host to some executive committee members of a socio political group, Project Democracy, in his office in Port Harcourt, the state capital. He said Wike, has transformed the landscape of the state with legacy projects , similar to those done by the Alfred Diete Spiff’s administration.

Stressing that he is able to make the comparison, because he has served on two previous administrations and is aware of the huge revenue received during those period, particularly during the administration of the immediate past Governor and Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi. Whose adminstration, according to Danagogo received huge allocations from the Federal Government, in an era when the Naira had more value.

He noted that Wike’s quest is to ensure that monuments are erected for the benefit of all and sundry, and not projects geared towards the satisfaction of minute needs. This he reiterated, has propelled him (Wike) towards achieving somewhat impossible feats.

Earlier in her speech, the coordinator of the group, Gloria Boma Harry, lauded the Wike led administration for embarking on people oriented projects and reemphasized the group’s commitment towards providing the needed support to ensure the actualization of Governor Wike’s aspirations that will foster good governance.
