There are unconfirmed reports alleging that Foreign expatriates working with Lubric Construction Company (LCC), have been kidnapped by daredevil gunmen, while three policemen attached to these men were brutally killed.
Africa Update gathered from sources that the sad incident which could have a negative effect on the construction of the Trans Kalabari Road, occured on Thursday, September 9, along the Sama Road, in Asari Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Some stakeholders from the region who spoke to our correspondent, have condemned this attack, observing that it could delay the completion date of the project, thereby dimming the hope of Kalabari sons and daughters, who are eagerly awaiting the completion of the historic project.
