The coordinator of Elem-Sangama community branch of Tantita Surveillance Security Service, Capt. Tamunoemi James, early this week visited Oru-Sangama in Akuku-Toru local government area of River State over the recent fire outbreak that occurred in the community.
Addressing victims of the unfortunate incident, Capt. James reassured the victims of the support of Tantita Surveillance Security Service, as he made a personal cash presentation and building materials for the rebuilding of affected houses.
He also presented some cash and some bundles of roofing sheets, planks, nails, and other materials on behalf of the Tantita Surveillance workers in Elem-Sangama.
The former oil and gas committee chairman in Elem-Sangama community further re-affirmed that a diesel generator would be bought to meet the electricity needs of the people as a way of enhancing their well-being.
While promising to offer other forms of support, he enjoined all to work together for peace and security of the area, emphasising that everybody has a stake in the growth and development of the community.
Others who visited the fire victims were the Amayanabo of Elem-Sangama community, HRH, Tamunobere Orusah, the paramount ruler of Dabibi group of houses, Alabo Charles Dokubo Dabibi, and other leaders and well-meaning sons and daughters of the community.
The monarch, who thanked God that no life was lost in the inferno, assured of the support of the rest of the community, and promised to play an active role in rebuilding the affected area.
The Amayanabo presented some money, as well as building and fishing materials, while Mrs. Daborah Manuel gave out some clothing, tablets of soap, and packets of detergents to the fire victims.
Responding on behalf of the community, Comrade Promise Aboifabia thanked the Amayanabo and his entourage for the visit and relief materials.
