Fubara extols teachers for resilience, dedication to shaping society

Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial standard bearer in Rivers State has congratulated teachers in commemoration of the 2022 Teachers Day celebration. He lauded Rivers State teachers for their resilience and commitment to building the society through imparting quality education and moulding positive characters.

Sir Fubara, while highlighting the sterling qualities of the teachers, said the Teachers Day celebration should be used to reflect on the immeasurable contributions of the teacher in shaping the society. According to him, “teachers have remained the pillars in shaping our society as they keep the fountain of knowledge flowing and birthing many innovations that have improved every aspect of living.”
Commending them for building the destiny of many, the gubernatorial candidate noted that the teachers will continue to play a vital role in the advancement of education in Rivers State.
He emphasized that such effort and commitment justify the dedicated funding and attention paid the sector by the administration of Gov. Nyesom Wike as seen in the new facilities installed across the school systems in the State.

Assuring the teachers of continued investment in the sector, Sir Fubara enjoined them not to relent as they will certainly receive commensurate reward for their efforts in due time.
