Two individuals identified as a father and his son, have been found dead in a septic tank at Rumuekini Community in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
An eyewitness disclosed that the father and his son met their tragic death while working at a building site. Africa Update gathered from multiple sources that the father had reportedly gone into the septic tank to do some work and when he did not respond to calls, his son who was also a worker at the site, went into the septic tank to know what had befallen his father.
Both men had allegedly choked to death due to the substance poured into the tank suspected to be kerosine. Alarmed by their sudden disappearance, other workers at the site had embarked on a search party which led to the discovery of both corpses inside the septic tank.
