There was pandemonium yesterday at the Mile one axis of Diobu in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State, when two secondary school students were gruesomely crushed to death by a trailer. The students according to eye witnesses account, were about crossing the road but decided to hold on by the fence under the flyover when the trailer while reversing suddenly hit and pressed them to the wall instantly cutting off their heads.
The incident led to wild protect by angry youths in the area who attempted to set the trailer ablaze but were prevented by the police. The corpses of the two male students between the ages of 12 and 13 years have been removed by the police, While the whereabout of the driver is yet unknown as he took to his heels when the incident happened.
