A foremost medical Doctor , business mogul, and Dein Piribo 2 of Kalabari Ijaw, Chief Dr. Emi Membere Otaji DSSRS, OON, has organised the 47th memorial service in honor of his late father Mr. Tamunoemi Membere.
The memorial service which held on Sunday January 8, 2023 at Our Saviours African Church Buguma City, in Asari Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State, had an array of dignitaries from all strata of society.
A memorial Hall was also unveiled at the family house in Otaji Polo, Buguma City, as part of activities to honour Mr. Membere who was born in 1932 and died aged 44 years in 1976.
Guests were later treated to a lavish reception at Otaji Polo and the private residence of Chief Membere Otaji in Buguma City.
