The Rivers State Government has fired its Commissioner for Health, Dr. Theophilus Odagme yesterday, February 15.
A statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communications,  Dr. Austin Tam George disclosed that the decision was disclosed  at the State Executive Council meeting at Government House Port Harcourt.

No reason was given for the sudden sack of the Commissioner by the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, but the statement wished Dr. Odagme luck in his future endeavor.
