The October crime, in which the reality star was tied up in her luxury Paris apartment and robbed of $11 million worth of jewelry at gunpoint, led to a nationwide manhunt. Just over three months after Kim Kardashian was robbed at an apartment in Paris, French media outlets are reporting that a string of arrests have been made connected to the crime.
Speaking to a police source, Agence France-Presse claimed on Monday that 16 people had been arrested in raids. According to The Guardian, Europe 1 and RTL Radio are reporting that 15 people have been held.
In the early hours of Oct. 2, Kardashian was held at gunpoint and tied up in the bathroom of her luxury apartment by masked men dressed as police officers who later got away with roughly $11 million (€10 million) in jewelry.
The incident caused the reality TV star to take a long break from making public appearances and posting on social media.
