Emi Membere-Otaji in line to become NACCIMA President

The Managing Director/CEO ELSHCON Group of Companies, Chief Dr. Emi Membere-Otaji, FNIM, NPoM, DSSRS, has been elected as the 2nd Deputy National President of National Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), polling 33 votes out of 45 votes.

With this win, Membere-Otaji, will become NACCIMA President in the next four years, after the tenures of Otunba Dele Kelvin Oye and the 1st Deputy President Jani Ibrahim.

Africa Update was reliably informed that Bonny Chamber which is now a member of the International Chamber of Commerce will be represented by Membere-Otaji in the NACCIMA President’s delegation to the upcoming 13th World Chambers Congress in Geneva, Switzerland from June 21 to 23, 2023.

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), represents 45 million companies from all sectors and organisation sizes in over 130 countries. it is the only privately led organisation with observer status in the United Nations, dedicated to facilitating International trade and cross border commercial transactions.
