Some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) staged a protest to the Opobo/Nkoro Council Secretariat yesterday, Â February 15, in condemnation of the selection and appointment of caretaker committee members for the Local Government Area.
Our source who spoke to Africa Update, accused the recently sworn in  chairman of the caretaker committee, Hon. Datubo Omubo -Pepple of favoritism and neglect.
He alleged that the CTC boss had abandoned members of the PDP who had contributed immensely to the growth of the party and had gone on to nominate individuals who were not stakeholders .
He warned of dire consequences if the purported anomaly is not addressed.
