CP Zaki Ahmed has resumed as the 38th Rivers State Police commissioner, taking over from CP Francis Adesanya, Â who died abroad while receiving medical attention.
Ahmed who arrived the state on Monday from Bauchi State, had served as a Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations in Rivers state before his transfer out of the state.
Upon resumption, he met with the rank and file of the command for a brief meeting and familiarization at the command’s Headquarters at Moscow road Port Harcourt.
Ahmed hails from Kogi State.
