Nigerians please let us not be deceived and misled by what I refer to as Global Deception Pandemic a.k.a “Black Lives Matter” the uprising that is rampaging the U.S and other parts of the world amid the Coronavirus Pandemic. It is part of a grand deception designed from the pit of hell to promote the agenda of proponents of the New World Order exploiting on the death of a Black American. It is part of a grand plot to edge out President Trump and stop his re-election bid in November 2020.
My assertion is backed by the following posers:
1. If Black Lives Really Matter why embark on violent protest, looting, vandalizing and setting ablaze properties of innocent Black Americans by the same Blacks.
2. If Black Lives Really Matter why demanding justice for the dead with acts of injustice against the living who are innocent.
3. If Black Lives Really Matter why the escalation of the uprising even after the dismissal and prosecution of the alleged murderer of the Black Man and the accomplices, which was the core demand of the misled protesters.
4. If Black Lives Really Matter why sustaining the widespread protest despite efforts by some Governors of U.S to make sweeping reforms on the Police Acts and other drastic measures aimed at bringing an end to Police brutality and Racism in that country.
5. If Black Lives Really Matter why does Blacks hate and kill themselves more than the White kill the Black and more than the Whites kill themselves in the U.S.
6. If Black Lives Really Matter why deviating from the main issue and politicizing the objective of the protest which is to demand for justice for the late Black American, George Floyd.
7. If Black Lives Really Matter why using the alleged killing of a Black Man by the Police to ventilate the political grievances of the Democrats and other perceived political opponents against President Trump ahead of the November Election in the U.S.
8. If Black Lives Really Matter why weeping up sentiment against an innocent President under the guise of protesting against the killing of a Black American by the police.
9. If Black Lives Really Matter why exploiting the death of a Black Man to demonize President Trump who have done more than what any President of the U.S have done for Black Americans in history.
10. If Black Lives Really Matter why wait until a Black American commoner is supposedly killed by the police before helping him at his death by raising millions of dollars through GoFundMe Campaign to bury him with a golden casket.
11. If Black Lives Really Matter why not Black Americans sincerely help fellow Black Americans to progress in life and not to hypocritically and deceitfully show concern towards a deceased Black Man whom you neglected while he was alive suffering.
It would be a wishful thinking, extremely irrational, a misplaced struggle and a somersault priority for any Nigerian to contemplate jumping on the bandwagon of what I call the Global Deception Pandemic a.k.a “Black Lives Matter”.
Our problems are endemic and peculiar to us as a country. Bad leadership and its concomitances are the bane of our problems.
Nigeria is govern with a defective anti-people constitution foisted on the country by the military which allow a few powerful individuals to impose successive bad leadership on the country.
As the Grundnorm of the law of our land, Nigeria’s constitution makes it difficult for the people to hold accountable, elected public office holders whom they entrusted their mandate to.
The rich exploits on the lacuna and defects in our law to enrich themselves the more at the expense of the poor. Our law criminalizes the poor, treat the misdeeds and acts of corruption by the rich with kids gloves and cover up the infractions, incompetence, ineptitude and misdeeds of our elected public office holders.
The problem of bad Leadership in Nigeria is worst than the Coronavirus Pandemic. Police brutality is worst in Nigeria than any other countries of the world. Our Criminal Justice System is among the weakest in the world. We are among countries with the worst cases of extrajudicial killings perpetrated by the Police and the Military with impunity.
Our country is like a jungle where people kill on purpose and get away with it. Our Judiciary pretentiously serve justice after several years of delay and keep the convicts in prison awaiting endless execution while the victims continue to suffer and expose to more injustice. This is worsened by religious and ethnic sentiments which becloud our good sense of reasoning.
As ordinary Nigerians the reform and change of our country lies in our hands. Nobody can bring that desired change other than us. Let us stop been afraid, too docile, gullible and naive. It is time we rise in unity against the monumental injustice in our country and demand for total restructuring of the country and other sweeping changes and reforms in the way we are govern as a people. Emeka Idika Kalu
