The Independent National Electoral Commission has fixed November 26, as the actual date for voting in Ondo State, while releasing detail of schedule of other activities.
August 28, 2016 has been scheduled as date for commencement of campaign by political parties in the State, while campaigns would end on Thursday, 24th November, 2016. Political parties are expected to collect forms at INEC Headquarters, Abuja from August 22-26.
Party primaries and resolution of disputes arising from the primaries are to hold between 18th – 19th September, 2016.
The official Register of Voters for the election will be published from 27th of October, 2016, while parties are to submit names of party agents to the Electoral Officer of the Local Government Areas on 19th November, 2016.
