Six suspects have been arrested for invading the National Assembly to steal the mace from the Senate chamber during Wednesday’s plenary.
The deputy force public relations officer, Aremu Adeniran, disclosed that a patriotic citizen had notified the police of the location of the mace, which led to its recovery at a flyover before the Abuja city gate.
A police source also revealed that Charms and other items were recovered from the thugs.
