The statement reads: The Rivers State Ministry of Education hereby informs Parents, Guardians, Principals of Government Senior Secondary Schools as well as other stakeholders that the final deadline for the submission of interested candidates for the 2021 National Examination Council (NECO) is Monday 26th April, 2021. Submission must be made only in the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry and Principals must ensure entry in a Register of submissions there. For the avoidance of doubts, Principals who do not submit the names of interested candidates in their schools before the deadline would be construed as saying that they have no interested candidates and cannot make any submission after the final deadline. The general public should please note. Signed: Sir Chidi Adiele (Permanent Secretary) For: Honourable Commissoner for Education
