unknown security agents invade Rivers Minority leader’s office

The office of the Minority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Benebo Anabraba was invaded by security agents yesterday, February 15.

Africa Update gathered from a reliable source at the Assembly Complex , that the security agents were not dressed in any military or police uniform, so it was difficult to ascertain who they were or what the motive of the invasion was.

Reacting to the invasion,  Hon. Anabraba who was absent when the incident occurred, alleged that it could be in connection to his recent emergence as the Minority Leader of the State Assembly.

He purported that there were insinuations from some of his colleagues and those opposed to him, including the Leadership of the All progressives Congress (APC) at different times and platforms suggesting such invasion.

He however stated that his lawyer would investigate the invasion to unravel the circumstances, before he draws any conclusions on who the security operatives are.
