Activities for Local Government Council elections have kick started in Rivers State with a stakeholders’ meeting which held at the premises of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
Addressing a cross section of chairmen of political parties, media men, Ad hoc Staff and electoral officers of the commission, RSIEC Chairman, Hon. Justice C.I. Uriri (Rtd), released the 2018 L.G.A election timetable as follows:
