Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly on Monday, June 5, elected Martin Amaewhule, the former House Leader as Speaker.
The 10th Assembly was inaugurated by Governor Siminalayi Fubara, who officially dissolved the 9th Assembly to pave the way for the commencement of the first session of the House at the Assembly Chambers in Port Harcourt.
