President General, Initiative for Transparent Strategy and Good Leadership. Chizy Enyi Esq, has accused the Rivers State Government of rewarding the evil deeds of cultists in the state.
Enyi in a press statement made available to Africa Update, on May 26, expressed worries that rather than apprehend and prosecute the cultists and criminals who allegedly attacked military men during the 2019 Presidential elections, the governor is rewarding their actions with a whooping N450 Million compensation, while nothing is said or done to compensate the families of military men who were killed during the attack.
His Statement reads:

It is indeed disheartening and worrisome, that Gov. Wike will publicly reward the cultists who lost their lives while exchanging bullets with the military during the 2019 general election. My much concern is that this unfortunate reward was done with Rivers State Government money with the intention to further encourage cultists all over the world.
Obviously, in course of fighting the military men on the eve of the election, one military man died and others sustained serious injuries, yet Gov. Wike never considered it necessary to compensate their respective families. What a show of shame, that those cultists carrying guns illegally were compensated, while the military men carrying guns legally were not.
The worst of it all, is that those who died in course of working for the election that produced him as Governor against the wish of Rivers people, i.e. INEC OFFICIALS were not remembered by Gov. Wike.
It is not out of place, to say that cultism resumed in Rivers State immediately Gov. Wike indicated his over ambition to succeed the then Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi between 2013 and 2015 and over 1000 of those not in support of his ambition, lost their lives and were murdered in cooled blood. Those killers were above arrest because they were working for the PDP and police could not arrest them.
It is on record, that even President Buhari promised to investigate the outrageous killings in Rivers State particularly at the Orashi region, that death of those who were not in PDP and refused to support the ambition of Gov. Wike, were on daily basis. President Buhari Sir, Rivers People are still waiting for you to fulfil your promise Political activities of other political parties could not hold anywhere in Rivers State.
Other political parties could not campaign in all the LGAs in Rivers State for fear of been attacked. Like in Okrika LGA, a police officer lost his life during the governorship campaign of APC. In Ogoni, Save Rivers Movement, a political pressure group against Wike were attacked despite the presence of the then governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and nothing happened till date.
This singular act of Gov Wike to compensate known cultists, is enough to *IMPEACH HIM ASSUMING WE HAVE RIVERS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY. I AM AWARE, THAT WE ONLY HAVE RIVERS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLE WHO COLLECT SALARIES AND SITS AT HOME*. I strongly believe, that Rivers people will surely remember their ugly roles one day. It is disheartening to note and regrettable, that we have a government in Rivers State that supports crime instead of fighting crime.
