Secretary to Rivers State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo has called on clerics and christians to continue to pray for the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and for sustenance of peace and progress of Rivers State.Dr. Danagogo made the call on Sunday during the 45th birthday celebration of the General Overseer of Fire for Fire Prophetic and Miracle Ministry, Apostle Moses James Odum at Isua Joinkrama 11, in Ahoada West LGA of the State.
According to the SSG, the prayers by Christians across the state is one of the reasons the Governor Wike’s administration has recorded unparalleled developmental strides now being enjoyed by all.“ I urge you to keep praying in accordance with the Bible that admonishes us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Don’t be tired in praying for the peace and progress of Rivers State and the Governor, His Excellency, Barr. Nyesom Wike.“I know you have been praying and the Governor has succeeded in the first and second tenure but do not think it is over.
The Bible again reminds us that the end of a thing is better than the beginning thereof . Pray that he will end well and Rivers State will benefit from it”, he said. Dr. Danagogo who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Data Danagogo, recalled that, since the Governor declared the State as a Christian State to make certain the will of God is accomplished, more enemies have been attracted to the progress of the state.“ Pray that the Governor will continue to overcome the enemies of the state. This Government is one that honours God and the men of God’, he added.
He observed that, Apostle Moses Odum is one of those who have dedicated their lives to serve God. As such, his service to God and men have attracted honour on his 45th birthday.“ Every labour in the Lord’s vainyard has a reward. Many times, it is not about money but your relationship with God. We are here in accordance with the Holy scriptures that says in 2Chronicle 20:20, if you believe in God you will be established, if you believe his prophets, you will prosper.
I most heartily congratulate you because I know you are one of those silent men of God in the state who have been praying for our leader Governor Nyesom Wike, the Government and the good of Rivers State”, he said.The Local Government Chairman of Ahoada West, Hon Hope Ikiriko said the prayers of God’s servants has continued to help the Government overcome every challenge to move the State forward. He noted that men of God are bridge builders.
While rendering the Sermon, the Guest Minister, Apostle Victor Brimoh reading from 2Kings 4:8-13 and 2 Samuel 9:3 admonished believers to learn to honour other people as such celebration can also attract honour to their own lives.
