Cabinet Reshuffle: Governor Fubara makes key changes

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has made key changes in his Cabinet, Africa Update has gathered.

The disclosure was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to State Government, Tammy Wenike Danagogo, on April 23.

The statement reads: “In a move aimed at enhancing efficiency and bolstering key sectors of governance, His Excellency, Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle in Rivers State.

“Effective immediately, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor SAN, DSSRS, the former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Special Duties within the Governor’s Office.

“Furthermore, Barr. Isaac Kamalu, DSSRS, formerly serving as Commissioner for Finance, now assumes responsibilities in the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.

“All parties involved are mandated to facilitate seamless transitions, with immediate handovers to their respective Permanent Secretaries. Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo, Secretary to the Rivers State Government, emphasized the urgency of this directive, stressing that all handover processes must be completed without delay.

“The reshuffle reflects Governor Fubara’s proactive approach to governance, ensuring that the right individuals are placed in key positions to advance the state’s development objectives. With these strategic appointments, the administration reaffirms its commitment to delivering impactful governance and fostering sustainable growth and prosperity for all citizens of Rivers State.”
