Following the emergence of Nse Ntuen, as the new speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, the South South Zonal secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. David Okumgba, has called on members of the party to remain calm in the face of obvious provocations.
He admonished the state governor Udom Emmanuel to realize that the days of impunity are over and assured that the pary will do all in its power to ensure that sanity prevails.
Okumgba hailed the decision of Ntuen and four other Lawmakers to dump the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the APC, stressing that PDP has nothing to offer anymore.
