Exposed: Wike allegedly buries billions in creeks (Pictures)

A source close to the Rivers State Government, has just given startling information to Africa Update, about what might  be “a white elephant project’, in the state.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, alleged that billions of naira have been buried in the creeks, in the guise of land reclamation of portions of the Eastern bypass, a project, which was reportedly embarked upon by the Nyesom Wike led administration, to allegedly siphon state funds.

The land filling project, according to our source, has been purportedly abandoned due to huge sums of money owed the contractor.

Though, these informations have not been confirmed, a visit to the site by Africa Update, revealed that the once very busy area, is devoid of any activities and workers were not in sight, which also was unusual, considering the spate of work, when the contractor mobilized to site in 2017.

A chat with a cross section of residents of the state, showed that the essence of the land filling, was considered a top secret while there are fears that the road linking Eastern Bypass to Amadi Amadi might collapse if nothing is done to review this policy.
