Residents of Eliozu have taken to the streets to protect the murder of eight-year old Chikamso Vctory over the weekend by a student of University of Port Harcourt, Â Ifeanyichukwu Maxwell Dike, Â and his subsequent escape from Police custody.
The story about his escape broke on Monday to the dismay of citizens. Vehicular and human movement were disrupted for several hours as protesters demanded for explanation and justice for the victim.
