Rivers 2019: David Okumgba says membership drive should not be left for NGOs

… Tasks committed APC members to get involved 
The South South Zonal Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, David Okumgba, says that human capital development is one of the top priority of the APC governorship candidate, Tonye Cole.
He made the declaration while delivering his speech at the  1st Tonye Cole lecture series and launch of  Cole TV, organised by Tonye Cole Associates, TCA, on December 21, 2018 in Rivers State.
Commending TCA for their efforts at mobilizing new members into the party,  Okumgba stated that the zonal Secretariat has noted TCA’s quota in the mobilization of over 5,000 new members into the party.
He assured participants that the statistics of new members would increase to 10,000 by January 5, 2019 going by modalities his office has put in place.
Okumgba charged all committed  members of the party to get involved in the new membership drive and advised that for the party to have a landslide victory,  the new membership drive should not be left in the hands of NGOs alone.
Dignitaries at the event were the Senator Representing Rivers East Senatorial District, distinguished senator Andrew Uchendu, who chaired the event, TCA BOT chairman, Chief Ogbonna Nwuke, Engr. Ndubuisi Nwankwo, Chief Omunakwe Dickson, Dame Aleruchi Cookey-Gam, and several others, while the guest speaker and MD NIMASA, Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside, was  represented by Dr. Abiye Amachree.
