Africa update has just received reports from a rivers citizen who pleaded anonymity of the installation of interceptor masts and high capacity transponders across the nation, especially in highly populated cities and states.

The source alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party and the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, have perfected their plans to rig the National Election as well as the Rivers State Election.

According to our source, the construction of these high powered gadgets, is aimed at doing the following during elections:

1. Intercept and listen to all official communications by the Security Agencies.
2. Jam and block communications by Security Agencies.
3. Intercept Election Accreditation (Card Reader) Information from the Poll Units; receive manipulated Information (data) and then transmit the manipulated data to INEC WARD, LGA, STATE Collation Centres.

Africa Update gathered that over 20 of such interceptor/ transponder masts have been erected within Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Government Areas.

GPS locations of the MAST, were forwarded and it was reported that a mast could be sighted within 20metres radius of the marked locations around Ikwerre Road, Prefab close, Nkpogu Road, Tombia street and Ada George Road.
