The Rivers State Commissioner for information and Communications, Â Emma Okah, Â says the story about an Award given to Governor Nyesom Wike, being a scam is untrue.
In a chat with Africa Update, Okah said “I read their statement. It’s sheer nonsense. We and the organisers of the event have never claimed that the award is from UN Habitat. So they should tell us where they got that from. Our statement on the award and report of other awardees stand.
“They are speaking out of ignorance and mere Google search will explain who the body giving the award is and why you can’t influence them.”
