The Rivers State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIPR holds the Late Sir (Alabo) O. B. Fubara Memorial Gold Paper lecture, the third in the series, and her Annual General meeting on Thursday 14th September, 2023.
The theme of this year’s lecture is ‘Re-engineering Traditional Institutions for Community Development in Niger Delta: Today and Tomorrow,’ which would be delivered by His Royal Majesty, Eze Felix Otuwarikpo (Fnipr), Eze Igbu Upata III, of Upata Kingdom at The NBA Hall, Bank Road, Port Harcourt.
The programme would be chaired by HRM King Dr. Leslie Nyebuchi Eke, Eze Oha Evo III, Nyerisi Mbam Oro Evo.
The event would feature presentation of awards to deserving individuals and corporate organisations, including a posthumous award to Late Emeritus Professor Nimi Briggs, a friend of the Chapter.
New executives would be elected during the Annual General meeting, that would lead the Chapter for the next two years.
