Rivers State Governor and Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nyesom Wike and the governorship candidate of the African Action Alliance (AAC), Biokpomabo Awara, Monday appeared before the Fact-Finding Committee of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) behind closed doors.
Recall that, INEC, had while announcing the suspension of the entire electoral process in Rivers State, announced the constitution of a Fact-Finding Committee to investigate alleged harassment and intimidation of its staff and agents of political parties by security agents and political thugs.

However, details of the meeting between the INEC committee and the two leading governorship candidates in the state were not made public.
