2019 Elections: CCSOs calls for check on military

The Coalition of Civil Society Organizations has advised  citizens to boycott the upcoming elections if the military continues to unleash terror on the people in the name of elections.

The state chairman of the coalition of civil society organizations, Sotonye George said said this at a  press conference in Port Harcourt.

Sotonye George who spoke on behalf of other groups said the presence of the military at the collation centers and polling units ignited violence that led to the death of several persons in Rivers State.

He also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s chairman to tell Nigerians why the military took charge of the presidential and national assembly elections in the country.
