It was a bloody Thursday evening, for cummuters and their families, when daredevil gunmen shot dead a driver with the Abua Odual Local Government Transport Services, identified as Jonah Sokolo, while all the other passengers in the 30-seater Coaser Bus were whisked away.
According to eyewitness account, the bus was heading to Abua Oduah town when the kidnappers ambushed them along the along Emohua axis of the East-West road in Rivers State.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, said the details were still sketchy.
