Running a country successfully is becoming increasingly challenging especially in a country like Nigeria where we have over 100million presidents belonging to APC or PDP.
Citizens have become increasingly sophisticated and demanding.
Crime wave ,insurgency is unpredictable; The list goes on.
This makes it imperative for our leaders to continuously update their skills to be relevant in a dynamic society, But knowledge is one thing, execution is another.
I was privilegded to discuss in 2009 with Mr Panta a pole, he made me understand that every Nigerian knows the problem but solving the problem in itself is a problem.
Nigeria is not lacking in skills of problem identification, but grossly deficient in skills of problem solving quite different from situation in Poland where the skill of problem identification is not as high as Nigeria but abundance of skill of problem solving.
There are so many analysts in all fields in Nigeria but after analysis- what next?
Even though Poland is not a great economic giant i agreed with Mr Panta.
He went further to tell me that what is lacking is personal effectiveness and that if the level personal effectiveness was not increased, Nigeria is playing with fire in the nearest future.
Nigeria is richly blessed with human and natural resources but harnessing the potentials is the bane of our economic woes.
