The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Â has foiled an attempt by drug dealers to smuggle about 3.950kg of cocaine into the country.
According to the NDLEA spokesperson, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, Â the suspects were arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
On his part, the NDLEA commander at the Lagos Airport, Ahmadu Garba, revealed that  32-year-old Mbatugosi Ifechukwu, was caught with 1.950kg of cocaine concealed inside the sole of shoes which originated from Sao Paulo, Brazil, while Forty-two-year -old Onuoha Dominic ingested 850g of cocaine from Brazil and 34-year-old Adugba Godson, also ingested 1.50kg of cocaine on his way to Sydney, Australia.
The cases are however, under investigation and will be charged to court soon.
