Betty Mabena 35,would have been burnt alive by members of Refilwe community, if the police had not arrived just in time to save her from the angry mob.
It was reported that Mabena was found on the roof of a neighbours garage in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Mabena’s sister Thembi said she was surprised to find her on the roof of a neighbours garage because she had spent the night at her home but had reportedly disappeared early Tuesday morning.
She further disclosed that she was attracted by the shout from neighbors who claimed that her sister was practising witchcraft and would have set her on fire if the police had not intervened. Reiterating that her sister relapsed in her mental condition and was not a witch.
