Higher King Group mourns Nwakaudu, condoles Gov Wike, family

Tributes and condolence messages have continued to pour in, days after the sudden demise of the Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, Simeon Nwakaudu.

The President of Higher King Group, OC Higher King, Esq, described Nwakaudu’s death as not God approved.

A statement signed on May 20 and made available to Africa Update reads: Higher King Group condoles with the families, government and people of Rivers State on the not God approved death of Late Simeon Nwakaudu, SSA on Electronic Media to the Rivers State Government.

Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu was a media man extraordinary. I remember the discussion we had before the extension of the lockdown to the 19052020, but unfortunately he died the same day.

He was forthright. He was always willing to talk to everybody including the public officers, dreaded civil society.

This is demonstrated on the number of encomiums from all and sundry.

I wonder who will now confirm stories from government for me. I pray that Governor Wike gets another replacement that may match late Simeon Nwakaudu at least 50 percent, because it will be difficult to get another like late Simeon Nwakaudu.”
