A man identified as Confidence Chalikobi and his driver have been reportedly killed by suspected cultists on Saturday night, along Ubeta Owube Road in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Africa Update gathered from sources that the men were ambushed and shot dead on June 24, while on their way to Owube community in the LGA.

A source said Chalikobi, who resides in Port Harcourt,, had bought some building material for the repair of his father’s house that was destroyed by the recent flood, when the said incident occurred.
Investigation has however commenced according to a reaction from the spokesperson of the Rivers State Police command, SP Grace Iringe Koko.
