A foremost politician and businessman from Bayelsa State, Chief George Fente is dead.
Africa Update was reliably informed by a family source that the political icon died on Saturday, at an undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, after a brief ailment that led to dialysis.
The source said his corpse has been deposited at a private mortuary in the State.
