Traders are now counting their losses as goods worth several millions were gutted by fire at the popular Mile 3 market, in diobu axis of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The inferno was said to have been out of control due to the dry harmattan wind. Africa Update was unable to ascertain the cause of the inferno, at the time of this report. This development is indeed a sad one for traders who are mostly Christians, preparing for the Easter period coming up soon.
